(OOC: Filial Spirit Questions)

Filial Spirits, get!

The mission with the Shaman and the General amped the lingering questions Shikamaru has had about the spirits up to eleven, and is what motivated Shikamaru to seek them out again.

Questions in so doing and when he finds them:
• Is it easier to find them then it once was? ie. he has never met Hyt despite trying before, maybe he's more in tune now
• Describe what happened; the shared dream and how they could use filial magic so strongly in it. What are their reactions?
• Were they aware of what happened?
• Reactions to the Shaman?
• How do they feel about the Third Party, as compared to the Malnosso?
• Do they know of anything the old villagers of Luceti left behind?
• If yes, can he be lead to it?


Worth noting he had a pact with Tsinku prior to the dream, and has spoken to all of the spirits before sans Hyt.

Answers provided by the mods here back in March:

• Is it easier to find them then it once was? ie. he has never met Hyt despite trying before, maybe he's more in tune now
They are no easier to contact. Think of it like being temporarily lent a gun. Yeah, they have the gun and were able to use it, but then it was taken back. If they want it again, they have to go through all the paperwork of reacquiring it. The only difference is now they have some brief experience using one, so once they get their hands on one, it’s a little easier to learn to use it.

• Describe what happened; the shared dream and how they could use filial magic so strongly in it. What are their reactions?
The question gives off an emotion of confusion, both at the story and why they’re being asked about it.

• Were they aware of what happened?
No.

• Reactions to the Shaman?
No reaction.

• How do they feel about the Third Party, as compared to the Malnosso?
In general they don’t seem to be terribly concerned with the Malnosso or the Third Party.

• Do they know of anything the old villagers of Luceti left behind?
There are faint whispers of something ‘locked away’, but these emotional feelings are a mix of sadness and dread. The meeker spirits won’t give much away whereas the bolder ones will simply leave if pressed about it.

• If yes, can he be lead to it?
As above, they won’t offer anything about it.
